The Penn State India Alumni Network (PSIAN) was initiated in 2016 by Shaurya Rastogi
('17 Eng) to nurture the community of the Pennsylvania State University alumni in India.

Penn State India Alumni Network's vision is primarily to serve as a platform for social, professional and academic exchange amongst Penn State alumni, as well as to represent the Penn State brand in India.

​

Penn State India Alumni Network also hopes to act as a resource base for current Penn State students, other Penn State community members seeking to engage with India, and prospective students.

​

There are more than 700 members in PSIAN. PSIAN members represent the Smeal College of Business, College of Engineering, College of Liberal Arts, The Law School, Bellisario College of Communications among other Penn State schools.

Through a mix of speaker series, lectures, cross-university mixers, and community service initiatives, PSIAN hopes to enrich the interactions and engagement between the University and India.
