Penn State India Alumni Network has established various committees by industry (Private Equity, Investment Banking, Consulting, Non-Profit, Entrepreneurship, Healthcare etc.) and has handpicked Penn State alums in India to serve as Industry Captains for each committee who will screen resumes, mentor alums and connect alumni seeking advice with the appropriate mentors / alumni / head hunters / friends in the various professions. The Industry Captains have access to all the Penn State Alumni in India in their respective industries. Each Industry Captain, depending on the nature of inquiry or request, will channel the request to the appropriate alum in India. The network will not mentor current Penn State students, but also facilitate networking opportunities and dialogue amongst alums globally and within India in various professions.
